International Youth Convocation (IYC)

The International Youth Convocation (IYC) which takes place every two years is an opportunity for Y's Youth around the world to come together and learn from  their diverse experiences. Since the first IYC in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1986, 9 IYCs have taken place. IYC 2004 was held in Cochin, India, from 09 August - 15 August 2004. Read the IYC 2004 Report.

International Youth Representative (IYR)

The International Youth Representative (IYR) is elected at the International Youth Convocation by the delegates attending. The IYR represents the Y's Youth at meetings of the International Council - the highest legislative body of Y's Men International - and serves as Chairperson of the International Youth Committee. The term of office is two years. The IYR for August 2004 - June 06 is Ms Yoriko Hashizaki from Japan.
